"Tell Me That You Love Me" is a song performed by Tori Vega and André Harris. It was performed at Maestro's in the episode The Great Ping Pong Scam to save the gang from facing trouble for not affording to pay a check, which was over $1,000, due to Robbie ordering too much caviar. In real life, the song was written by Dan Schneider, Michael Corcoran and CJ Abraham.
In the Show[]
Tori learns that Jade formed a ping-pong team with their classmates. After learning the reason behind her motives and promising not to tell anyone, she is allowed to join them for dinner at a fancy restaurant, Maestro's. During the dinner, Robbie enjoys a small bowl of caviar and decides to order more. Because caviar is a very expensive ingredient, their check is $1,300, shocking the gang in the process. After overhearing a conversation with the owner and manager, Tori decides to do a performance and gets the whole gang out of legal trouble.
Lyrics[]
Andre: Oh, yeah, yeah
Tori: The situation turns around
Enough to figure out
That someone else has let you down
Both: So many times, I don't know why
Tori: But I know we can make it
As long as you say it
So tell me that you love me, yeah
Both: And tell me that I take your breath away
Maybe if you take one more
Then I would know for sure
There's nothing left to say
Tori: Tell me that you love me anyway
So tell me that you love me anyway, whoa, oh, oh
Waking up beside yourself
And what you feel inside
Is being shared with someone else
Both: Nowhere to hide, I don't know why
Tori: But I know we can make it
As long as you say it
So tell me that you love me, yeah
Both: And tell me that I take your breath away
Maybe if you take one more
Then I would know for sure
There's nothing left to say
Tori: Tell me that you love me anyway
Show me, look what we found
Both: It's turning around every day
Tori: I can hear what you say
Both: Now, I know why
I know we can make it
If you tell me that you love me, yeah
And tell me that I take your breath away
Maybe if you take one more
So tell me that you love me, yeah
And tell me that I take your breath away
Maybe if you take one more
Then I would know for sure
Tori: There's nothing left to say
Tell me that you love me anyway
Trivia[]
- André confirmed on TheSlap that he wrote the song, however, in the episode The Great Ping Pong Scam, Tori said it was a new song she had been working on (Though this could simply mean that she had been helping André with the song, and so they had both contributed to it).
- In the Victorious: Music From The Hit TV Show album, drums were added to the song.
- Tori isn't credited in the song on TheSlap.
