Sophia Michelle is a fictional playwright who wrote Uptown, Downtown. She appears in Tori the Zombie. She seems to be very prominent in Broadway because Jade groans when Tori asks who she is, and after knowing she'd be attending the show, the acting teacher said, "We knew we had to be good; now we have to be perfect."

She attends Hollywood Arts' showing of her play Uptown, Downtown, which stars Tori, Beck, and Robbie. She made it clear that she is not very fond of Robbie's acting, getting prepared to leave right after the show despite previously stating that she'd be staying for a while. The students of Hollywood Arts were confused when Sophia stated that she actually understood the play due to Tori's monster make-up on. She enjoyed Hollywood Arts' performance and saw that Tori's make-up added to the emphasis of the theme of her play about the men's love of the main character's substance over beauty.
