Reid was born in the Bronx, New York at Jacobi Hospital. He has wanted to be an actor since he was a child when he used to imitate television characters. He graduated elementary school at Hawthorne PEARLS in Yonkers, New York in 2003, and graduated high school from The San Fernando Valley Professional School in 2010. Reid moved to Los Angeles in August of 2007 to pursue his acting career full-time. When he isn't working, he writes scripts and is involved in Prodigy Productions, a production company owned and run by teens. Reid also plays the guitar and sings and has performed with the "Hollywood School of Rock" in Los Angeles at venues including ''The Knitting Factory, The Mint,'' and ''Fais Do-Do.''

Reid went on to play the role of Donald in the film "House of D", written and directed by David Duchovny and starring Robin Williams. He has appeared many times on Saturday Night Live, "Last Call with Carson Daly," and Late Night with David

Letterman. He has also made appearances as Nicky Carlotta in the Law and Order: CI episode titled F.P.S., and as Kareem Abdul Jabbar in Ed. He had a recurring role as Roger on the ABC show Miss Guided, and appeared in the movie 'Fame' with Kelsey Grammer in 2009. Currently, he plays Sinjin Van Cleef on the Nickelodeon TV show, Victorious.
