omg the saddest thing happened yesterday. I had my last band concert at my school, and they had this little ceremony to honor us, and my band director was so upset. But then our last song was America the Beautiful, which we all hated playing, but his dad died a few weeks ago and just before we started playing he said it was his dad's favorite song and started crying D:
Trouble and Silence I think were my favorites, and Another Girl, but Red Queen was really good too.
I took tumbling until 4th grade, then I gave up. I can still do a bridge and a backwards somersault fairly well, and my round-offs are decent. But I never learned how to do a backbend or a flip flop or aerial.
Yeah. I've read that lots of the drama is actually just made for the show. The dance where Maddie messes up the front aerial actually wasnt that bad. I watched the full dance on youtube. The show made Maddie look like she stopped dancing and made it really dramatic. Actually, Maddie ended up placing 3rd or 4th. That's probably why Melissa said in the next episode Maddie should not be on the bottom of the pyramid.
I don't think I've seen When Stars Collide and Miami Heat Wave I've only seen the dances.
Yeah, I've seen lots of YouTube videos about people who went to the competitions and how it was so scripted. Like when Payton had a solo, it said she got 2nd, but Brooke actually got second even though it wasn't on the episode. Payton got 7th.
Yes, I think she's crazy! I didn't like her when Vivi was at Abby's, but now I do. Except bringing the dance dads into their dressing room was not okay. But her conversations with Vivi crack me up. "Would you be the girl in the-" "No."
Yeah. She was annoying at Abby's dance studio. Her voice and her dancing is just annoying. But now that she has left the studio, its a lot more interesting. I dont think Vivi enjoys dancing as much as her mum. She just dances cos she wants a puppy.
The repacements are ok. But they can be annoying. Sophia isn't Abby's student and she gets everything. I dont really get why Sophia Lucia didn't win the national title, even though she is shown to be so much talented than Maddie and Chloe.
In the show, they say Payton is bullying the other girls. But, it might have just been there to make more drama?
Yeah. They should be at the top more. I dont get why Abby likes Maddie so much. They all have strengths and weaknesses. Chloe may have won the national title, but she is really weak at acro. Nia is shown to be weaker, but at many times, she did amazing and even got a standing ovation once.
Right? Brooke and Paige are so good at acro, Nia is good at attitude, Kendall is really good at jazz, Mackenzie is good at being cute and acro, Chloe is good at dark dances, and Maddie is good at pretty lyrical dances. Abby needs to learn that they can't all be judged the same.
Ugh, Cathy is such a fake. She has other people choreograph for her and she has to get dancers from other places just so she can beat Abby. It disgusts me. And yeah, they should interview Gia. My "older sister", as I like to call her (she used to babysit us when me and my sister were little), worked on Dance Moms as the girls' tutor for a while and she and Gia hung out a lot. Apparently she's really nice.
Oh, Cathy... I can't even tell you how annoying and despicable I think she is.
Cool! An AWC on the Dance Moms wiki said that she will start having interviews soon, but of course there's no way to find out if that's true or not, unless Gia or someone else in the cast or crew mentions it in a tweet or something.
This is what I know about that: Abby and Cathy were friends throughout season one and part of season two, but when Kendall went to Cathy's and performed Gia's solo, Abby announced that they were no longer friends.
Yeah, they were quite young. Brooke looked really different. They made a lot more episodes in season 2 than 1. I think they just did that because they wanted more episodes and have the Nationals as the last episodes.
I only watched half of the first ep and decided to stop watching. I think they stopped fiming the Miami version too. The Miami dance pyramid is even worse than Abby's one. I think Abby's dancers are more talented.
Yeah, it was cancelled last fall. The Pittsburgh girls are definitely more talented. Did you see Lucas on one of the recent episodes? He got second place, and Maddie got first. I forget which episode it was...
Hmmmm... yes and no. Yes because she's a little firecracker and she seems like such a sweet little girl. No because she doesn't fit in very well, and she looks awkward in the group dances without Mackenzie. Do you like her?
Well, Asia is a great dancer and is the same size as Mackenzie. But since Mackenzie has an injured foot and Asia is dancing instead of her, it seems like she is replacing Mackenzie and I don't really like that.
Ikr. If Mackenzie thinks she is better, then she can probably dance. Besides she's rested it for over a week. I guess dancing may injure it again but I can't believe Christi thinks she's lying. But this is probably staged just for the drama.
I don't know, I'm that kind of person who is already working towards getting towards their dream college. I may be taking an AP class already, if I have time (really hope I passes my Tech placement test), and I'm in a Sophomore class. But I may switch from honors physics to integrated physics, because I already know that's going to be a horrible class for me.
I guess... computer why would you spellcheck guess to hues?
AP stands for Advanced Placement. It's a college level class, and if you take one in high schooland pass then you get the college credit for it. No, integrated is normal physics, I don't know why they call it that at my school.
Wow, taking a college level class is probably gonna be really hard.
When I first heard americans mention the word "college" on TV, I was really confused, because in Aus and the UK, college means high school and in America it means university. Americans use words quite differently to me, but now I know what it means cos I watch a lot of TV now.xD
Geography is quite fun. I prefer learning about the stuff about people (like HDI, GDP, trade) but that's kinda more econimics stuff. Last year, I learnt stuff about natural things like how glaciers and volcanoes are formed. I found that kinda boring. :P
I know. Sometimes, it's like we're speaking a different lanuage. I think Americans changed some of the words so it would make more sense or shorter. Like changing colour to color. But I really don't get how changing mum to mom makes more sense. Cos we still pronounce it mum, not mom. And how is changing lift to elevator, braces to suspenders, jumper to sweater and dummy to pacifier suppose to make it "shorter". It just makes things more confusing. I had no idea what people meant then they said bangs (which I call a fringe) and pacifier (which I call a dummy).
I use to live in Aus but now I live in Hong Kong. People Aus and HK generally use British English. :)
Oh, I know it's so annoying. Once in class, some people were discussing if it should be spelt globalisation or globalization. And this other time, this girl said "They slept mum wrong" cos the book spelt it Mom. She didn't know americans spelt it this way until her friend told her. I didn't know mum could also be spelt mom until last year. :P
Yeah, it can be fun to stay somewhere else, but you do get homesick and it can take a while to pack all ur stuff, and there is always something you leave behind. :/
Actually, what I find the weirdest is accents. Like here we think that British accents are amazing, and Australian are cool (yes, I can tell the difference, I know a lot of people can't), but everyone from England think that we have cool accents. It's also really weird because in the US we have so many accents from where you live, so people always say, "Oh, you're from Chicago". They also say that we pronounce Tootsie Roll wrong, but Tootsie Rolls are made in Chicago xD
That's another reason I love living here, because every state is so different, and there's so much to see.
I think Australian and US accents are fine. But I find british accents a little posh and I find them hard to understand. Especially irish, scottish and welsh accent. I barely understand a word they say. And what's a Tootsie Roll, cos I've never heard of it b4.
Yeah, I guess. Cos America is like the size of Europe. Each country in Europe have different weather and accents, so it's probably the same with the states in america. :)
Wow. I hope ur cousin had fun. Ireland seems like a beautiful place. Maybe, you can go to Ireland on your honeymoon. xD
I did read some of the 2nd book, but I had too much homework and I kept forgetting to read it. For some reason, whenever I read a book, I always forget what happens right after reading it. So I'm alwasy going back so see what I just read 5 minutes ago. :P
I really like most of the dances, cos of the way they dance and the choreographer. Abby's song choice and her choreography is really great. Cathy doesn't really deserve the credit the the awards the dancers from her studio win.
Me too, they don't understand that we have huge projects in every class already, so they're like, "Oh, science fair is almost over (which is mandatory in my school :P) so you have time for this now." Yeah, and every single teacher is thinking the same thing.
Well, I ship Bade, Cabbie, Tandre, Jandre, and a liiiittttle bit of Bat, but I don't not like any ships. I'm a little random, and I'm quadruplets with Maddie, Hannah (Singstar), and Gia. My favorite color is purple. My favorite characters are Jade, Cat, and Robbie. So yeah, that's a summary of me. xD
XD You seem very interesting and now I shall tell you about meh self XD I ship Bori, Cabbie Jandre, Jori Creddie Seddie , Sibby Mondler and Joey and Phoebe sorry I ship a lot of things anyway I'm very boring XD
Tomorrow I'm going to my Grandma's to hang out, becuase my aunt, uncle, and my cousin and her fiance are coming in from Missouri, and my other cousin is coming in from Georgia, and then New Year's I'm going to my Aunt's house and we're just gonna do our grab bag and eat food and play board games.
