This is a list of words and phrases used in Victorious. These words may also be used in Dan Schneider's other shows such as iCarly or Sam & Cat.

Chiz[]

Chiz is a very commonly used word in Victorious. It is used to replace swear words. It is also used a lot in iCarly. In The Birthweek Song and Wi-Fi in the Sky, André seemed to believe that chiz was actually a German sausage.

Gank[]

Gank is a word commonly used in Victorious, particularly to describe Jade. It might be a euphemism for skank, or another word starting with "b" used to describe mean females. According to Beck, however, such a term actually downplays how awful Jade can be. A similar word, jank, is used in iCarly.

Wazz[]

Wazz is a common word in Victorious. It means to urinate. It was first used in Wi-Fi in the Sky when Trina told Tori that she was going to use the first class bathroom on the plane. In April Fools' Blank, Cat, Tofu, Robbie, Beck, Andre, Jade, and Tori did a Wizard of Oz based sketch in the bathroom of Hollywood Arts High School called the Wizard of Wazz.

Snoodle[]

Snoodle is a term used mostly in the later seasons. It most likely means to cuddle or spoon, but it could also hold a more risque definition. It was suggested by Robbie in Victori-Yes when he and Cat were hiding inside trash cans after having their pajelehoochos stolen, leaving them wearing nothing but their underwear.

Grunch[]

Grunch is a common term used throughout Victorious, mainly by Tori. It has no clear definition other than the fact that it is used as a pejorative, and people who it's directed at seem to take offense to it. An example of this is used in the episode Driving Tori Crazy, in which one of the Northridge girls all Tori a grunch, prompting her to fight the Northridge girl.

Jammit[]

Jammit was a term used once by Tori. It is used to convey frustration or discontent. It's likely a euphemism for a similar-sounding swear word. She used it in the episode The Worst Couple.

Nooch[]

Nooch is a term used by Sikowitz in Tori Tortures Teacher in lieu of the word "notch." The gang takes Sikowitz to a theater where he states that all of the plays there are "top-nooch." When someone corrects him saying that it's "notch," Sikowitz replies by stating that he says "nooch" instead, and then encourages the rest of the kids to join him in saying "nooch."
